This day trip is recommended for people that want a real life experience and an in-depth look into the life and traditions of the local Mayans. This is a good experience for those that like to support sustainable tourism and avoid mass marketing tours and large groups. The community is located in the south of the state of Quintana Roo, consider a 2.5 hours drive from Playa del Carmen . We leave at 7:00 am and will be back around 6 pm. In this small Mayan Village we will do the following activities: Visit an herbal doctor. Listen the stories of a mayan elder. Discover how sisal yarn is made. Discover the Melipona bees. (An extra person will have an additional charge of 75 USD.)
